My husband thinks that the pie is edible Sulfer as will be burned on the cake, but I think it would be nice.

I think your husband is right. If I recall, the candles are made from magnesium and burns at high temperatures. Certainly not something you want to the exterior of your home lighting. And it ensures at least burn the meringue and the pie is not entirely unappetizing.

Not particals Sulfer is the base metal in the flares goo thing? what color or small chips ..
will be dust in the head with ashes ..
