Why Are Women More Prone To Mental Illness Than Men Are Women With Bipolar Disorder More Prone To Postpartom Depression?

Are women with bipolar disorder more prone to postpartom depression? - why are women more prone to mental illness than men

I have bipolar disorder, I was diagnosed in my teens. I was on drugs before I walk through counseling. I am in a position to have been off medication and control what I feel "normal" and stable for many years. I've always believed that children, when I'm older, but I fear that my postpartum depression was mixed after the birth of a child with bipolar disorder, are intolerable. Women with bipolar disorder are more likely to suffer from postpartum depression and less likely to suffer worse after the birth with no history of mental illness?

Good question. Everything that is all I can say, talk to your obstetrician-gynecologist or family doctor about it.
